Essaouira is a UNESCO World heritage listed city as an example of a late 18th-century fortified town. Its greatest charm lies in the fact that it's kept the authenticity of a land lost in time.

We pick you up from your accommodation at 8am to depart for Essaouira. After a scenic three hour drive, we'll arrive at our destination, with a quick stop at the Mogador Harbor, a narrow, sandy, beach peninsula built by the Portuguese.

In town, you have time to have a walk through the Medina, watch the local fisherman and enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the restaurants of the fishing port. We can arrange for a city native to give you a tour if you want to learn more about a typical day. But the city is small and quiet enough that it's easy to wander and enjoy alone.

After you'd enjoyed your time in Essaouira, on the drive back to Marrakech, we can stop at a Women's Cooperative to see how argan oil is made. And don't worry, once back in Marrakech, your guide will take you back to your accommodations.
